Forge & Salvage
Salvaging gear into Embers, crafting in the Forge and the craft odds at every Forge level.
Salvage
Salvaging gear and scrolls turns them into
Embers, the
Forge’s currency. Salvaging Epic or higher gear can also drop a rune.
S-Tier items pay three times as many Embers.
Forge
The Forge unlocks after chapter 9, on the Salvage & Forge screen. Spend Embers to craft a random piece of gear. The Forge level decides the odds of each rank, and each new level takes time to build.
Once you have cleared chapter 35, every craft can also roll an Exalted rune, the strongest runes in the game, which chapters 40 to 42 need.

Tips
- The Forge helps from chapter 9. Its early crafts are Epic to Legendary items that feed your merges. Push your gear to Divine through merging first; in the end game, the Forge’s high-rank crafts and Exalted runes become where most of your power comes from.
- Keep the Forge upgrading. Upgrades take real time, so start the next one as soon as you can afford it.
- Craft in bulk once Exalted runes are open, until you have the 6 that count. Turn on Auto-salvage for the ranks you do not merge: those crafts turn straight back into Embers and can still drop runes, instead of filling your bag.
- Level 25 is worth finishing. It doubles level 24’s Exalted rune chance, so if you are close, reach it before a big crafting push.
