Answers to the questions players ask most, from locked chapters to Arena tickets.
How do I unlock Reaver and Druid?
Through the Class Trail, which opens after chapter 10. Each advanced class has its own trail: reach 45,000 points on it to win its Celestial class weapon, which unlocks the class.
Why is my next chapter locked?
From chapter 3 on, each chapter also needs an Eternal Tower floor set cleared; the chapter’s lock names it (chapter 10 needs Floor 25-28). Chapters 40, 41 and 42 also need 3, 4 and 6 Exalted Divine runes socketed in your current set.
Why did my rewards drop after a few replays?
After chapter 8, replays follow a daily allowance: the first 5 runs pay ×1.2 gold and gems, then the rate goes down. Gear drops are never reduced. See Bonus Runs.
Why did the key bundle counter disappear from the tower?
Key bundles only count the first 4 Replay or Sweep wins each day. Once you have them, the counter hides until the next day.
Why can’t I sweep?
Sweeps unlock after chapter 8 once you win a new tower floor, and each one needs a Sweep Ticket. A Sweep pays at the rate of the attempt it uses, so the tower’s first four attempts of the day are the best time to sweep. See Sweep.
When does the day reset?
Every day at 00:00 UTC. Weekly quests, the Arena season, leaderboards and the Maze Shop reset on Monday 00:00 UTC.
Why didn’t my Arena tickets refill?
The daily refill tops your tickets up to 5. It does not add 5 on top, so if you already hold 5 or more you get none. Spend them every day.
Do I lose my upgrades when I swap gear?
No. Upgrades belong to the equipment slot, not the item, so a new item uses your slot level right away, up to its rank’s cap. See Equipment.
Do Exalted runes work in the Arena?
Partly. The +25% final Damage and Max HP bonus of Exalted runes is switched off in the Arena, and so are element runes. The normal stat on an Exalted rune still counts.
Do gear drops get worse on replays?
No. Only the gold and gems from replays follow the daily Bonus Run allowance.
Is Battle Pass Premium tied to the season?
No. Premium lasts 30 days from the day you buy it. Claim your rewards before the season resets, because unclaimed rewards do not carry over.
Do damage over time effects work on bosses?
Barely. Bosses take only 5% of the normal damage over time and Paragons 35%. Damage over time is best against crowds of ordinary enemies.
Can I change my class?
Your class is the class of the weapon you have equipped, so you can switch any time. To move your progress between the four base classes, use Transfer Class. See Classes.
Where is Gold Mine today?
Boss Battle, Raid, Gold Mine and Mythic Maze take turns: two are open each day. See the calendar.
